- recycled art - students upcycle materials gathered from post-consumer wastestreams, make puppets and props for theater.
- theater - prop and puppet making, collective playwriting, storyboards and performance of original works created entirely by students.
- paper engineering - pop-ups, Karakuri (paper machines), paper maché, and 3-d paper sculpture.
Comissions
- sign carving - interpretive, educational signs carved by hand out of local wood.
- design/illustration - painted and printed signage, graphic novel illustrations.
- educational 'zines - guide books and coloring books about local flora/fauna and how they fit into ecosystems. Created for Kentucky nature center. Focus on indigenous plant species, efforts to include native languages.
- murals - large and medium scale, interior and exterior.

- wall sculptures - paper maché and plaster relief paintings.
- wildcrafted pigments - weaning myself off industrial paints and pigments, contemplating material ethics (ethics of material use in art and beyond).
- site-specific installations - several from student days i’m still proud of and a large scale project in development that serves an educational and functional purpose (represents local native flora, can act as outdoor classroom or stage).
- quantacrib - festival space created with This Is Not Art Festival in Newcastle Australia to encourage and facilitate mixed and multimedia collaboration between attendees and performers.
